Dog Nation partnered with Pet Biz Creatives to establish its own independent brand identity, separate from its parent company, Hop Nation. The goal of co-founders Sam (below left) and Laurence (below right) was to create a distinct personality for Dog Nation that reflected its passion for craft beer and canine companionship while maintaining a strong visual connection to its origins.

A key focus of this project was developing a premium yet playful aesthetic, defining the brand’s colour palette, and creating an engaging website that would introduce Dog Nation to the market and communicate its unique offering: non-alcoholic dog brews crafted with care for four-legged friends.

Dog Nation needed a clear and cohesive brand identity that would stand on its own while still feeling connected to Hop Nation’s well-established reputation in the craft beer industry. The brand needed to strike a balance between fun and credibility—something that would resonate with dog owners who value quality, novelty, and thoughtful ingredients.

To work closely with Dog Nation to refine a brand identity that felt fresh, fun, and premium. The branding needed to reflect the quality of the product while appealing to dog lovers who enjoy sharing unique experiences with their pets.

We would develop a colour palette and visual style that balanced Dog Nation’s playful personality with the premium quality ingredients and health benefits. The branding needed to incorporate clean, modern design elements while keeping a lighthearted and inviting tone.

In addition, we would create a sleek, engaging website built to introduce Dog Nation to the market and educate customers about its unique offering. Focusing on a seamless user experience, we would ensure easy navigation and clear product storytelling, whilst mobile optimisation key to ensuring accessibility across all devices.

The Results

We helped Dog Nation establish itself as an independent yet complementary extension of Hop Nation. The brand now has a distinct identity that resonates with its target audience, positioning Dog Nation as a leader in the emerging category of dog-friendly brews.

With a visually compelling website, a cohesive brand identity, and a seamless user experience, Dog Nation is set up for success—ready to capture the hearts of dog lovers and craft beer enthusiasts alike.
