Pet Biz Creatives is a specialist marketing agency and consultancy helping pet brands grow. We work closely with Australian pet businesses to build strong brands, generate demand, and drive measurable results.

We are a fully remote business with no physical offices. Our team works from home (with our pets by our side), collaborating online and focusing on outcomes, not hours at a desk.

About the Role

This is a long-term role designed for someone who wants to grow with the business. You’ll work alongside the founders (Erin and Tarryn) as a peer-level team member, managing client relationships, leading strategy, and contributing directly to revenue growth.

This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow with Pet Biz Creatives. For the right person, there is potential for future equity ownership in the business. Any equity opportunity would be considered over time and based on sustained performance, leadership contribution, revenue impact, and long-term alignment with the company’s values and vision. Equity discussions, if and when they occur, would be subject to separate agreements and are not guaranteed as part of this contract.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Relationship Management

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Australian clients remotely
• Act as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor
• Lead strategy calls, reviews, and ongoing client communication
• Translate client goals into clear, actionable marketing strategies
• Identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion
• Conduct Sales Strategy Calls with new leads and create proposals to bring new clients onboard

Social Media

• Lead organic social strategy across key platforms (primarily Instagram and Facebook)
• Oversee content planning and creation, campaign execution, and performance analysis
• Ensure organic content supports paid campaigns and brand goals
• Stay ahead of platform trends and best practices

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Use prior sales experience to identify and close new business opportunities
• Confidently sell PBC services to new and existing clients
• Contribute to revenue growth through upsells, referrals, and new accounts
• Increase personal earnings through commission and/or performance-based incentives

Leadership & Collaboration

• Work remotely but closely with Erin, Tarryn, and the wider team
• Contribute at a senior level to strategic decisions and process improvements
• Support and mentor team members where appropriate

About You

Experience & Skills

• You must be an animal lover and share an enthusiasm and interest in helping brands build meaningful relationships with pet parents
• Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
• Strong all-round marketing knowledge and strategic capability
• Demonstrated experience in:
  • Social media strategy
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) paid advertising creatives
• Previous experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Comfortable managing client relationships independently in a remote environment
• Strong understanding of the Australian Pet Industry
